The Rev. Bruce McNab became rector of Christ
Church in January of 2004, his third "tour of duty" in
the Diocese of Colorado. Educated at Austin College in his native
Texas, Princeton University, the General Theological Seminary, and
London University. Fr. Bruce was ordained to the priesthood in 1972.
He was a curate and then rector of four other parishes before being
called to Christ Church in Aspen. He has been a guest preacher, conference
and workshop speaker and retreat leader for vestries, parishes, dioceses,
and organizations. As a pastor, his personal interests are in the
teaching of Scripture and prayer, organizational change, and total
ministry development. The remodeling and expansion of Christ Church
in 2008-9 was his fourth major church building project. Bruce does
not ski (unusual for anyone living in Aspen) and says that he doesn’t
have any hobbies except playing with grandchildren, reading, listening
to music, walking, and rooting for the Colorado Rockies. Since
their marriage in 1992, he has had a team ministry with his wife,
the Rev. Joan McNab, a vocational deacon. |
